These traditional sweet snacks, known as “garapinyades” in Catalonia are hand made in small batches just the way grandma used to make them. Because of the labor intensive process, the art of caramelizing nuts is being lost in Catalunya. But we are bringing it back – and without skimping!
Our secret is to use only the best ingredients: the best Marcona almond cooked with sugar and water.

Almonds are inspected and selected according to their size and quality. We cook them by hand and in small batches (1700 g each time) with water and sugar and following a traditional recipe. Right after finishing this process the are vacuum-packed.
