Caramelized Negreta Hazelnut ideal for… salads, desserts, to combine them with cheese or chocolate, or just to enjoy them by themselves.

These traditional sweet snacks, known as “garapinyades” in Catalonia are hand made in small batches just the way grandma used to make them. Because of the labor intensive process, the art of caramelizing nuts is being lost in Catalunya. But we are bringing it back – and without skimping!

Our secret is to use only the best ingredients: delicious Negreta hazelnut cooked with sugar and water.

Ingredients: Negreta Hazelnut, sugar and water.

Allergens: HAZELNUTS, may contain traces of other nuts.

Presentation: 120, 190 and 365g vacuum-packed glass jars.

Restaurant trade presentation: 2kg vacuum-packed plastic bag. 2150g glass jar.

Shelf life: 18 months.

STORAGE INSTRUCTIONS: Please store in a cool, dry and room temperature environment for best shelf-life results.

Hazelnuts are inspected and selected according to their size and quality. We cook them by hand and in small batches (1700 g each time) with water and sugar and following a traditional recipe. Right after finishing this process the are vacuum-packed.
