These traditional sweet snacks, known as “garapinyades” in Catalonia, are made by hand, in small batches, just the way grandmas used to cook them. Because of the laborious and intensive process, the art of caramelizing nuts is being lost in Catalonia. What we do is to bring it back, and without skimping!

Our secret is to use only the best ingredients: high quality Catalan walnuts, sugar and water.

Walnuts are inspected and cooked with water and sugar following a traditional recipe and in small batches (950 g each time). They are then vacuum-packed.
