17XI. Buil & Giné. Red wine from DO Montsant.

This is a wine entirely made from grapes bought from local vine-growers. Its name comes from Saint Gregory’s date. In Falset, we have a beautiful hermitage dedicated to this Saint. Our great-grandfather Evarist Giné had a special role during its reconstruction.

 complex dry red wine, but at the same time, easy to drink. Smooth, with a fresh and aromatic wood.

 easy drinking wine, smooth, fresh and very versatile. It combines with all kinds of food; we recommend white meat, salads with Goat cheese, soups, processed meats and mushrooms. Also with rice prepared with any ingredient. Among the most appropriate ways of cooking are grilled, steamed and boiled. In general, with not too complicated dishes, preferably light. Also ideal for all types of raw food.

Varieties of grapes: black grenache, carignan wine and tempranillo grapes.

Each grape variety is fermented separately.

The maceration is long and a temperature of 26 ° C is carried out. Afterwards, the malolactic fermentation is carried out. Once finished, it is aged in American oak barrels for 4 to 6 months. The blend is made, bottled and aged in the bottle between 3 and 5 months.

 between 16º and 18ºC, up to three-four years after production.
